Youth Classes Fall 2017

After School Art Program Elementary

After School Art is getting a new look and we are excited to offer your child the opportunity to explore their creativity and artistic selves in a fun, nurturing environment. Our new instructor Cassie will introduce students to a wide variety of media, styles, and artists. Projects will include printmaking, recycled art, and special art projects.

Instructor: Cassie Schreiner $49 (4 weeks) per Session

Session II: Monday, November 6 Classic Artists: Chihuly, Picasso, Piet


After School Art Program MS

After School Art is getting a new look and we are excited to offer your child the opportunity to explore their creativity and artistic selves in a fun, nurturing environment. Our new instructor Erin will introduce students to a wide variety of media, styles, and artists. Projects will include printmaking, recycled art, and special projects.

Its Back and It’s All New! Stampin’ Up Fun

Join the fun of card making. Together we will make a variety of items in fresh and trendy designs for September it’s time to make locker decorations, bookmark, magnetic clips and tow box caddies. October is all about Halloween and items include, treat boxes, cards, and a bookmark. With Christmas fast approaching December focuses on gift tags, notepad, and a decor piece. All supplies are included and will be Stampin’ Up products. Ages 10+

Muth Youth Community Singers Community Kids Choir

Love to Sing!

No matter what your ability MYC Singers is a place where anyone can learn to sing and have FUN doing it. MYC Singers is under the direction of Mary Paige Rieffel and will offer students in grades three through eight the opportunity to learn and perform at three upcoming events schedule at the Bronner Performing Arts Center. Students can register for one, two, or all three events. Rehearsals will begin Tuesday, October 24 and run Tuesdays and Thursdays after school for 4 weeks prior to each show.  November 10 An American Salute Friday, December 15 Christmas At the Bandstand

After School LEGO Fun Calling all Master Builders! The most fun about LEGO Cub is your children get to express their creativity while problem-solving and learning to be part of a creative team process. But, most of all it’s just plain FUN!! The class is open to children in grades K-4 but limited to 15 students.

Child Care Workshop

Don’t miss the opportunity to be the best babysitter on the block. On completion of this course, you will have learned infant/child CPR, prevention, and treatment of illnesses, well baby care, and management of children from infant to school age. Must be 11 years old. You will need to bring a snack and baby doll.

Engineering for Kids After School Program
Engineering for Kids brings science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to kids ages 4-14 in a fun and challenging way. We are proud to inspire children to build on their natural curiosity by teaching engineering concepts through hands-on learning. Engineering is, after all, one of the fastest growing industries in the world!

 Mini Steps

Get your Little One Dancing Like A STAR. If you have a little one ages 2-5 and want to introduce them to the art of dance we have Mini Steps, starting, Thursday, September 21 at 7:00 PM. It is a six week class at a cost of $49. Class is held in the List Cafeteria. This is a great way for you to introduce your little one to the art of dance. Yoga for Kids grades K-2

Your child will gain physical strength and flexibility, learn ways to manage stress and get along better with people in their life, discover a peaceful, as well as a relaxed state of mind and body.
