Applications for Limited School of Choice for incoming 2018-2019 for grades Kindergarten, 1st. 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 10th, Advanced Placement 11 & Advanced Placement 12 will be accepted beginning January 16 and close on February 6that 4:00 PM.

Application and Release forms are available at District Office, 525 East Genesee Street or may be requested by emailing pmalicoat@fmuthschools.com .

Youth Class

After School Art Program Elementary

After School Art is getting a new look and we are excited to offer your child the opportunity to explore their creativity and artistic selves in a fun, nurturing environment. Our new instructor Cassie will introduce students to a wide variety of media, styles, and artists. Projects will include printmaking, recycled art, and special art projects.

Instructor: Cassie Schreiner $49 (4 weeks) per Session

Session III: Monday, January 22: Abstract Art  3:10-5:00 PM List Cafeteria 


After School Art Program MS

After School Art is getting a new look and we are excited to offer your child the opportunity to explore their creativity and artistic selves in a fun, nurturing environment. Our new instructor Erin will introduce students to a wide variety of media, styles, and artists. Projects will include printmaking, recycled art, and special projects.

After School LEGO Fun Calling all Master Builders! The most fun about LEGO Cub is your children get to express their creativity while problem-solving and learning to be part of a creative team process. But, most of all it’s just plain FUN!! The class is open to children in grades K-4 but limited to 12 students.

Adventures In Tech

 

Here is a great new after school program put on by the two Sassy Apples, Mrs. Leach and Mrs. Miller Adventures In Tech for grades K-4! They will share many types of technology, including Osmo, coding, bloxels, and more.

Engineering   for Kids After School Program-CANCELED

Engineering for Kids brings science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to kids ages 4-14 in a fun and challenging way.  We are proud to inspire children to build on their natural curiosity by teaching engineering concepts through hands-onlearing.  Engineering  is, after all, one of the fastest growing industries in the world!

Girls Winter Softball Pitching Clinic

Frankenmuth Community Education and the Varsity Softball Team will be sponsoring their 30th annual winter softball pitching/catching clinic for all Frankenmuth area girls. The clinic is designed for girls who have not pitched before and for those with previous pitching experience.  There is no age or grade requirement. 

The clinic will be at two different locations.  Mondays will be held at EFR in the balcony and Wednesdays will be Held at List Elementary Gym.

Muth Volleyball Academy  2018

Winter Program

Muth Volleyball Academy is excited to announce the details of the 2018 winter/spring volleyball academy sessions.  Each session offers volleyball instruction for girls in 3rd through 6th grades.  Session provides eight training practices once a week.  New this year players will be assigned a coach and a team that they will train and compete with throughout the eight week session.  During the training sessions, focus is placed on technique to develop memory muscle and memory for a variety of skills.  Older grades will learn more advanced drills, strategies, and team systems to prepare them for middle school volleyball.  Both age group sessions will be dedicated to fun, competitive matches, where players can practice their learned skills through active team play. 

Frankenmuth High School head Varsity Coach and MVBA Director, Shelly Conrad is the program director and lead coach.  Frankenmuth High School volleyball players will assist.

Winter Session:  Thursday, January 4-February 22

Session I: Grades 3&4: 3:15-4:45 PM

Session II: Grades 5&6: 4:00-6:30 PM

 

 

Stampn’ Up Fun 

Join the fun of card making.  Together we will make a variety of items in fresh and trendy designs. Students will make 4 cards,  and a dimensional product.  All supplies are included and will be Stampn’ Up products.  Ages 9     +

Messy Science Art for little ones ages 3-6  

In this class, participants will experiment with different materials to create a variety of colorful science projects.  This program is designed for children ages three through six years old.  Children who are not potty-trained will need an adult to stay with them.  Students should bring a paint shirt and prepart to get MESSY.

Week Three:     Making Magic

Week Four;      Sink or Float

Week Five:      Color explosions
