The current focus of the Frankenmuth School District Foundation is to provide financial assistance to individual motivated students who wish to participate in programs and activities that compliment and augment their classroom education. We will do this through an annual application process.

General Guidelines for Individual Student Grants

In general, funds will be provided for tuition, program fees, and other costs for enhancement and enrichment activities that are not available within the public school setting. We anticipate that most grants will range from $100 - $500.

Any educational institute, workshop, music or arts program NOT conducted by the Frankenmuth School District is eligible. The program must be educational in nature. Examples may include student exchange programs, a university or other summer youth program in science, math, music, journalism, yearbook, choir, drama, vocational education, or an extra curricular fine arts program. No sports camps, general recreational camps, private music lessons, faith based programs, or college credit classes are eligible. Material and equipment grants may be provided for individual high school students who wish to partake in an approved independent study class as part of their curriculum.

Grants will be awarded via a written application process. They will be received annually. The deadline will be in April with a specific date announced via the school district website, school announcements, and local newspaper.
